Williamson County Parks and Recreation will host a day full of nature programs and events to celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 27 at Timberland Park. Activities include a hike, two walks and a nature lesson on butterflies.

A two-mile guided nature hike (moderately strenuous) will begin at 10:00 a.m.  For those desiring a shorter distance, a wildflower walk will be at 12:00 noon. A discussion on butterfly gardening and how to attract butterflies to your yard or garden will be at 1:30 p.m. The day will conclude with a nature poetry walk at 3:00 p.m.

This special nature appreciation day will be an enjoyable time at Timberland Park. Join us! More information at www.wcparksandrec.com.
