Eighth annual Bowlability event raises funds for Brightstone

BrightStone’s Bowlability event was a lucky strike. Bowlers filled the lanes of Franklin Family Entertainment Center for the two-night event, raising more than $62,000 for BrightStone, a Franklin-based organization that provides services and enrichment for adults with special needs.

“It’s a great blessing to live in a community willing to give their time and financial gifts to support BrightStone,” BrightStone Director of Advancement Randy Elliott said. “We’re eternally grateful to all the first-time bowlers and to our faithful returning bowlers who participated.”

Elliott said 28 teams and more than 160 people participated in bowling on the first night of the event.
