Annual Gilda’s Golf Classic Slated for September 23 at Williamson County’s Prestigious Golf Club of Tennessee
NASHVILLE, TENN. – July 22, 2019 – Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee, a non-profit dedicated to providing social and emotional support to anyone impacted by cancer, with locations in Nashville and Franklin, will host its annual Gilda’s Club Classic on September 23, 2019. Held at Williamson County’s prestigious Golf Club of Tennessee in Kingston Springs – one of America’s 50 Greatest Golf Retreats – the event is in its thirteenth year and remains one of the local non- profit’s biggest annual fundraisers.
“Every year, we really look forward to this event. The course is magnificent. The camaraderie among the players is fun. And the cause couldn’t be a better one,” said Allen Huggins, owner of WH Properties and member of the Gilda’s Golf Classic committee. “The event wouldn’t be possible without the support of both Williamson and Davidson county businesses. This year, we’ll be welcoming back long-time sponsors Christie Cookie and Enterprise Solutions, among others.”
According to Huggins, Gilda’s Golf Classic will kick-off at 10:30 a.m. on September 23 with player check-in, the opening of the driving range and a barbecue lunch. A shotgun start will follow at noon, along with a post-tournament cocktail reception at 4:30 p.m. and an awards dinner and program at 5 p.m.
