Five Points Swing Concert Is Sunday, August 25

Includes Free One-Hour Dance Class by Champion Ballroom

“Boogie Woogie” on down to the Williamson County Performing Arts Center as Five Points Swing gets you in the dancing mood once again with another great show! Champion Ballroom Center will start off the event at 2:00 p.m. with a free dance lesson. Then you’ll have a chance to show off your new dance moves when the swing band takes the stage at 3:00 p.m. 1940’s attire admired, but not required. There will be a prize for best dressed.

This afternoon event will be held on Sunday, August 25 at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center, 112 Everbright Ave., in Franklin, TN.

Individuals must purchase a ticket to the concert to attend the dance class. Comprised of 20 dedicated members, the Five Points Swing Band specializes in the sounds of yesteryear and has amassed a loyal fan base with music lovers of all ages. The band was formed in 2011 by members of the Williamson County Community Band through the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department. For more information about
