JANUARY EVENTS AT TIMBERLAND PARK

Williamson County Parks and Recreation is proud to host a series of nature programming events at Timberland Park in January.

January 11: Stories from Appalachia

Come gather by the fire at the visitor center on January 11 at 3:00 p.m. and listen to a few traditional Appalachian stories about the culture, folklore, early mountain life and the people. The event is free, but registration is required at www.wcparksandrec.com. Registration code: #13372.

January 29: Winter Wildlife Walk

Join park staff for a half mile winter walk at 10:00 a.m. on January 29. The hike will focus on searching for signs of wildlife during the walk. The event is free, but registration is required at www.wcparksandrec.com. Registration code: #13375.
