O’More College of Design’s Fashion Show

O’More College of Design’s Fashion Show

The O’More College of Design’s Fashion Show is coming to Nashville. On Thursday, May 12, 18 well-designed, well-made and beautiful student collections will debut on the runway at the annual O’More Fashion Show, held this year at Nashville’s John C. Tune Airport. The work represents the culmination of years of study. Styles range from Japanese draping with an apocalyptic edge to mod children’s knitwear, with colorful, androgynous clothing for men and women and minimalist fashion with an architectural influence in between.

Proceeds from the Fashion Show fund scholarships that provide O’More students with an exceptional education at a nationally ranked school that prepares them for a successful career after graduation. O’More students go on to great things:

Kat Seaton ’13-Designer, MILLY NYC

“Even with all of the great designers and brands out there today, I think there’s still a place for me. I have my own aesthetic that is different from anyone else. So ultimately, I want to have my own label. And I feel like O’More prepared me to do it.”

Courtney Button ’11-Stylist, The Daily Show NYC

“O’More was the only school I looked at and only one I applied to. I loved the smaller setting as opposed to being competitive so early on. For me, it felt like a better learning environment than moving to New York right away, but New York was always the end goal.”

Jessica Bornick ’06-Designer/Owner, Owlette-Columbia, South Carolina

“I feel like O’More really helped prepare me for what I’m doing now. I felt pushed to be creative as you finish a project, and really helped me to work really hard and establish a work ethic early on. But, O’More also helped me remember this: that was what we do is fun.”
