New Technical Crew Program Opportunities

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department’s award-winning children’s theatre group, The Star Bright Players, will hold open auditions for the modern holiday musical Elf The Musical on Sunday, September 8 from 1:00 – 5:30 p.m. at Freedom Middle School, 750 Highway 96 W., Franklin, TN.  Based on the beloved holiday film, this hilarious fish-out-of-water comedy follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity.

For this musical production, all children must be age 7 through high school seniors at the time of the audition. Children may arrive anytime during the audition time, but must be prepared to wait. To audition, actors should prepare a Broadway-style song to sing acapella and wear clothes that are comfortable for movement. No registration is required to audition. Visit www.wcparksandrec.com for more information about the audition.

There is a $100 activity fee for all children cast in the show (includes costume rental and cast t-shirt). Performance dates are December 5-8, 2019. For more information, contact Alison.Worden@williamsoncounty-tn.gov or (615) 786-0186 ext. 2513.
