PUCKETT’S PRESERVATION POTTY PROVES TO BE A BIG FLUSHING DEAL

This Leiper’s Fork Landmark Launches Campaign to Preserve The Historic Store with Additional Bathrooms
Puckett’s of Leiper’s Fork is on a preservation mission to expand its bathrooms in a monumental investment that could serve to be the most expensive bathrooms in in the state costing more than $580,000.

“Puckett’s of Leiper’s Fork has been serving Tennessee since 1953 with one bathroom,” says owner Rob Robinson. “We have spent $580,000 to add bathrooms to the historic store and they are not done yet. If you have ever waited in line to potty in Leiper’s Fork, you know what we are up against.”

In regards to the expansion, the biggest investment was allotted to cover the purchase of the land behind the restaurant to support the water filtration system needed to accommodate the number of visitors to the attraction. Beyond the land purchase and new filtration system, owners Rob and Shanel Robinson are planning to add a second restroom to the restaurant and market.

“We are trying to preserve our place in this community and this renovation and investment will ensure that we remain a central hub for Leiper’s Fork,” says Rob. “By creating the Go Fund Me campaign, we hope to engage our patrons to get involved in our future and we have some fun rewards in place based on their level of investment.  The top two funders will be getting a stall in their honor donning the patron with a permanent throne for their donation.”

In addition, anyone that donates more than $100 will receive their name on the wall in the new facilities at Puckett’s. To contribute to the Puckett’s Preservation Potty Fund, you can make donations on-site at the location at 4142 Old Hillsboro Road, Leiper’s Fork, TN or on Go Fund Me by clicking here.
