SENIOR HIKE AT TIMBERLAND PARK

Williamson County Parks and Recreation (WCPR) invites area seniors (55+) to join us on National Take a Hike Day, Friday, November 16, 2018 and visit WCPR’s own Timberland Park in Franklin, TN.

Participants must be able to walk independently on different types of terrain, and provide their own lunch/snacks and water for this hike. This outing is weather dependent. Should inclement weather require cancellation, participants will be notified as soon as a determination is made.

The group will depart the Williamson County Enrichment Center, 110 Everbright Ave., Franklin, at 9:00 a.m. The cost of the outing is $3 for transportation. Registration is online at www.wcparksandrec.com (#12761) and ends November 15 or when full. For more information, contact Krystal Turner at krystal.turner@williamsoncounty-tn.gov or (615) 786-0186 ext 2048.

Timberland Park is located at mile marker 437.2 on the historic Natchez Trace Parkway, just south of the Highway 96 entrance and iconic bridge.
