Senior Outing to Arrington Vineyards

Senior Outing to Arrington Vineyards

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPR) invites area seniors (55+) to participate in an upcoming day trip to visit an area attraction. The activity is open to the public.

A trip to the Arrington Vineyards is planned for Tuesday, March 19 to visit the beautiful hillside winery in Williamson County, TN. The group will tour the production facility, view the grounds and taste five different wines. Since 2007, Arrington Vineyards has been providing a “wine country experience” of award winning wines set among the picturesque rolling hills of middle Tennessee. Before the wine tour, the group will eat lunch at the Manor House located in the beautiful gated community of The Grove. Not open to the public, this private clubhouse overlooks Williamson County’s only Greg Norman Signature Golf Course. The elegant, comfortable atmosphere will be the backdrop for a wonderful dining experience.

Transportation will be provided from the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Dr., with a departure time of 10:30 a.m., returning by 3:00 p.m. The cost of the outing is $38 per person. Lunch is Dutch treat and the Manor House only accepts credit cards, no cash. Registration begins February 11 at www.wcparksandrec.com. Registration code #13979.
