SUMMER YOUTH FENCING CLINIC REGISTRATION
The Athletics Division of Williamson County Parks and Recreation will conduct a beginner level fencing clinic for coed youth ages 7 to 17. Registration is now open and will continue through July 8 or until full. The clinic will be held July 9 through August 8 and will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:15 – 8:15 p.m. at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park, 1485 Volunteer Pkwy., in Brentwood, TN. The cost is $125 (includes equipment rental for level 1 and 2). Registration code #14639.
Fencing is a modern day equivalent of a sword fight and is one of the fastest growing sports in the country. Clinic participants will learn the rules of the sport, basic footwork and posture, as well as the rules of the sport, scoring, weaponry and safety rules.
