Youth get full musical theatre experience in 13-week course

Kids ages 5 to 10: Here’s your chance to be in a show! Williamson County Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce a Musical Theatre Experience class, August 21-November 13. The class meets every Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd. From initial auditions through two public performances, the 13-week course covers all aspects of musical theatre-singing, dancing, rehearsals, costumes and sets. On November 16 at 7:00 p.m. and November 17 at 4:00 p.m., the class will present two public performances of a family musical at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center at Academy Park, 112 Everbright Ave.  The course is $200 per participant, plus a $25 costume fee due on the first day of class.  Register now at www.wcparksandrec.com for activity #12944.  For more information, contact director Julia Nolan at julianolansings@gmail.com.
