WILLIAMSON COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION PRESENTS “THE JUNGLE BOOK KIDS”

Williamson County Parks and Recreation is pleased to present our Musical Theatre Experience Class in an all-youth production of Disney’s “The Jungle Book Kids.”  Two performances will be held on Friday, November 16 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 17 at 4:00 p.m. at the Academy Park Performing Arts Center, 112 Everbright Ave, Franklin, TN.

In this Disney classic story, favorite jungle friends (Baloo the bear, Bagheera the panther, Khaa the snake, King Louie the ape, and more) join Mowgli as the man-cub goes on a journey through the jungle to find out where he belongs. This children’s theater production features talented local actors, singers and dancers ranging in age from 5 to 10.

The Musical Theatre Experience Class is a 13-week program that gives young, aspiring students a complete understanding of everything it takes to put together a stage production — from auditioning for a role, singing, dancing, acting and rehearsals, to the final performance.

Tickets are only $5 and available at www.wcparksandrec.com. The production is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com
