Keep the kids busy over Winter break with a variety of classes and activities at WCPR’s Williamson County Recreation Complex in Nolensville, 7250 Nolensville Rd., Nolensville, TN.

January 2 & 4: Cooking Academy – 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Kids will tantalize their taste buds and have fun with food. Different recipes each week from appetizers to en­trees, snacks, desserts and more! Learn about nutrition, dining etiquette, and cooperation skills in this scrump­tious class. January 2 & 4: Cirque Du Science Camp – 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. Come one! Come all! Step right up to Cirque de Science where The Science Guys will reveal secrets of the Greatest Show on Earth. We will explore many feats of the Circus, explain the science behind it, and help each kid perform these feats on their own. The activities will include juggling, plate spinning, balance and discover that magic is just science without an explanation. No prior skill required — just an eagerness to learn. Armed with motors, robot parts, gears, and axles, our young engineers will have fun while developing a solid foundation in electronics, problem solving, engineering and critical thinking.
